Founded by a group of game enthusiasts, Associazione Giochi Antichi has become over the years an institution on traditional game, both local and international. By organizing events and conferences, it promotes the preservation of traditional game communities.

Associazione Giochi Antichi carries out research and supports traditional games both in Italy and worldwide. It is a member of AEJST (European Traditional Sports and Game Association) and of the Italian Pop Culture Network.
