Vittorio Canisi photography.

"I do not remember how  this adventure started. If I first fell in love with the game or with the pictures".

Vittorio Canisi was born in Switzerland in 1963. After graduating in London in photography, he began working with magazines such as Marie Claire and Io Donna, for several advertising campaigns. In September of 2008 he held he exhibition "Siamo qui per la bellezza del gioco" as part of the International Festival of Street games. He currently lives and works in Milan.

Canisi has been traveling around the world for five years looking for games. Twenty-two shots documented games from any country, no matter its political, economic and social condition.

The eye of the photographer combined with the attention of the player: Victor has been playing   Carrom for years, and this has definitely helped him capture the magic, focus, and suspense of game.

From players of Chinese checkers, to chess games in the thermal baths of Budapest, the exhibition is the perfect opportunity to undertake an  unforgettable journey in the world of traditional games.
